MINISTER OF FINANCE AND
CORPORATE RELATIONS
HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:
1 The Legislative Assembly Allowances and Pension Act, R.S.B.C. 1979, c. 228, is amended by adding the following section to Part 1:
12.1 Notwithstanding anything in this Part or the Legislative Assembly Board of Internal Economy Act, there shall be no increase in the indemnities, expense allowances and salaries referred to in this Part with respect to the fiscal year ending on March 31, 1993.
2 Section 4 is repealed.
3 This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on April 1, 1992 and is retroactive to the extent necessary to give it effect on and after that date.
