The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."
Order called for "Private Members' Statements."
Mr. Tanner rose on a point of order, namely, that a motion to adjourn the House prior to the normal hour of adjournment on a Friday, was inappropriate. The Speaker stated that it appeared to her that it was the will of the House to adjourn on previous weeks, and that the Chair can only respect the will of the House.
On the motion of the Hon. L. Boone that the House do now adjourn, the House divided.
