Prayers by Mr. Cowie.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. T. Perry (Minister of Advanced Education, Training and Technology) tabled the Annual Report of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology for the period April 1, 1991 to March 31, 1992.

Mr. Lali presented a petition relating to World Peace.

The Hon. D. Zirnhelt (Minister of Economic Development, Small Business and Trade) made a ministerial statement regarding the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Ms. Stephens made a statement.

Mr. De Jong made a statement.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion "That the Speaker do now leave the Chair" for the House to go into Committee of Supply.

The debate continued.

Mr. Gingell advised the Chair of his intention to raise a matter of privilege.

On the motion of Mr. Garden, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

The Hon. G. Clark moved--
That the House at its rising stand recessed for two minutes.

The House recessed for two minutes.

Fifty-eight minutes past five o'clock p.m.

The House proceeded to "Public Bills and Orders and Government Motions on Notice."

Bill (No. 2) intituled Job Protection Amendment Act, 1993 was committed and reported complete with amendment.

Bill as reported to be considered at the next sitting after today.

And then the House adjourned at 8.06 p.m.
