Prayers by Mr. Hanson.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

On the motion of the Hon. M. Sihota, it was Ordered that leave be given for the Select Standing Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries to meet for organizational purposes while the House is in session today.

On the motion of the Hon. M. Sihota, it was Ordered that leave be given for the Select Standing Committee on Women's Equality to meet for organizational purposes while the House is in session today.

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 3) intituled Build BC Act.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. De Jong, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.52 a.m.

Two o'clock p.m.

The Hon. D. Miller (Minister of Forests) made a ministerial statement regarding a news report on Clayoquot Sound.

Mr. Hurd made a statement.

Mr. Fox made a statement.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. D. Zirnhelt (Minister of Economic Development, Small Business and Trade) tabled the Annual Report of the Ministry of Economic Development, Small Business and Trade for the period April 1, 1991 to March 31, 1992.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 3) intituled Build BC Act.

The debate continued.

Mr. Warnke moved the following amendment --
That the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 3) be amended by deleting the word "now" and substituting therefor the words "six months hence."

The debate on the amendment continued.

On the motion of the Hon. C. Gabelmann, debate on the amendment was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 5.55 p.m.
