Ten o'clock a.m.

The Clerk of the House informed the House of the unavoidable absence of the Speaker, whereupon Mr. Barnes, Deputy Speaker, took the Chair, pursuant to Standing Order 12.

Prayers by Ms. Hammell.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Members' Statements."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, the House resolved itself into Section B of Committee of Supply.

25. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $410,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Education and Ministry Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights, Minister's Office, to 31st March 1994.

26. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $3,662,389,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Education and Ministry Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights, Ministry Operations, to 31st March 1994.


Section B of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

And then the House adjourned at 12.40 p.m.
