Mr. Weisgerber made a statement regarding the death of Mr. Herb Bruch, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly, on May 26, 1993.

The Hon. B. Barlee made a statement.

The Speaker stated that she would convey to the family of the late Mr. Bruch, the condolences of the Members of the Legislative Assembly.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for Committee of Supply.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs).

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 32) intituled Environmental Assessment Act, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Fox, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

That the motion for Second Reading of Bill (No. 33) be amended by deleting the word "now" and substituting therefore the words "six months hence."

On the motion of Mr. Warnke, debate on the amendment was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.
