Prayers by Mr. Fox.

The Hon. C. Gabelmann, (Attorney General) made a representation to the Chair in relation to a matter of privilege raised in the House yesterday, and by leave, tabled related documents.

The Honourable Member for West Vancouver-Garibaldi made a statement and indicated to the Chair that the statement of the Hon. the Attorney General satisfied and concluded the matter which he had raised.

The assent of the House was indicated to the Chair.

The Hon. E. Cull (Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Seniors) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 45) intituled Health Authorities Act, 1993 and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

His Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Bills.

The said assent was announced by Ian M. Horne, Q.C., Clerk of the Legislative Assembly

"In Her Majesty's name, His Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth assent to these Bills."

His Honour the Lieutenant Governor was then pleased to retire.

By leave, Mr. Hurd tabled a copy of a letter to Commissioner A. G. Henderson dated June 18, 1993, regarding the Nanaimo Commonwealth Holding Society.

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section B of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food).
