Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Government Services).

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 38) intituled Emergency Program Act, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Wilson, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

Section A of Committee of Supply having reported the last vote of the estimates of the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, debate on those estimates was summarized, pursuant to Sessional Order of March 31, 1993.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Government Services).

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 45) initituled Health Authorities Act, 1993.

The debate continued.

Mr. Warnke moved the following amendment--

That the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 45) be amended by deleting the word "now" and substituting therefor the words "six months hence."

The debate on the amendment continued.

The House divided.

The amendment was negatived on the following division:

The debate resumed on the main motion.

Mr. Serwa moved the following amendment --

That Bill (No. 45) intituled Health Authorities Act, 1993, be not now read a second time, but that the subject matter be referred to the Select Standing Committee of the Legislature on Health and Social Services.

The debate on the amendment continued.

On the motion of Mr. Clark, the debate on the amendment was adjourned until later today.

Bill (No. 43) intituled Municipalities Enabling and Validating (No. 2) Amendment Act (No. 2), 1993 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.
