Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section B of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors).

Section B of Committee of Supply reported progress. Report to be considered at the next sitting. Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

Section A of Committee of Supply reported progress. Report to be considered at the next sitting. Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

And then the House adjourned at 11.50 a.m.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

Mr. Plant rose on a matter of privilege relating to statements made during Question Period on May 6, 1997, by the Minister Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations.

The Hon. A. Petter (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Minister Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations) made representations and tabled a related document.

The Speaker stated he would take the matter under advisement.

The Hon. P. Priddy (Minister for Children and Families) made a ministerial statement regarding Family Day.

Mr. Coell made a statement.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs).

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 14) intituled Environment, Lands and Parks Statutes Amendment Act, 1997, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

On the motion of the Hon. C. McGregor, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

The Hon. P. Ramsey moved -- That the House at its rising stand adjourned until 2 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday next.
