That reports of the Auditor General of British Columbia deposited with the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly during the Second Session of the Thirty-sixth Parliament be deemed referred to the Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts.

Mr. Thorpe rose on a matter of privilege relating to statements made by the Minister of Small Business, Tourism and Culture.

The Hon. J. Pullinger (Minister of Small Business, Tourism and Culture) made representations.

The Deputy Speaker stated she would take the matter under advisement.

40. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $462,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors, Minister's Office, to 31st March, 1998.

41. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $6,869,553,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 1998.

42. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $7,862,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors, Vital Statistics, to 31st March, 1998.

49. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $131,233,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 1998.

50. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $224,660,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Local Government Grants, to 31st March, 1998.
