Bill (No. 20) intituled Public Sector Employers Amendment Act, 1997 was committed, reported complete with amendment, and by leave, read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 28) intituled Health Authorities Amendment Act, 1997 was committed.

The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.

The Hon. D. Miller (Minister of Employment and Investment) tabled the following:

British Columbia Inquiry into Gasoline Pricing Preliminary Findings, August 28, 1996.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

By leave, the Hon. J. MacPhail moved--

That in addition to the powers previously conferred upon the Select Standing Committee on Forests, Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources the Committee be empowered to sit during any sitting of the House.

Motion agreed to.

NOTICE OF QUESTIONS

Monday, July 21

3 Ms. Sanders to ask the Hon. the Minister of Health the following question:

On May 20, 1997, the Minister of Health made assurances that a committee struck to review "first break policy" for antipsychotics respiridone and olanzapine would report to her in a month. Six weeks later no response has been forthcoming. When will British Columbians receive this important response?
