Be it resolved that the motion "We, Her Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative
Assembly of British Columbia, in session assembled, beg leave to thank Your Honour for the gracious
speech which your Honour has addressed to us at the opening of the present session," be amended by
adding the following: "but this Assembly regrets that this government has failed to bring forward a
gaming policy that will ensure the charities of British Columbia receive all the funds that are due to
them under the laws of Canada, but rather has unlawfully appropriated those funds for use in general
revenue."

Be it resolved that the motion "We, Her Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative
Assembly of British Columbia, in session assembled, beg leave to thank Your Honour for the gracious
speech which your Honour has addressed to us at the opening of the present session," be amended by
adding the following: "but this Assembly regrets that after 23 months since the election of this
government, the Throne Speech does not address the very real and serious issues facing this province
and provides for no initiatives to restore investor confidence, credible economic development policies,
certainty or stability for the future prosperity of this province."
