PROPOSED AMENDMENTS ON NOTICE

14   The Hon. D. Lovick to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 14) intituled Workers Compensation (Occupational Health and Safety) Amendment Act, 1998 to amend as follows:

SECTION 15, in the proposed section 135 (2) of the Workers Compensation Act, by striking out "person" and substituting "member".

SECTION 15, in the proposed section 154 (3) of the Workers Compensation Act, by adding "reasonably" immediately before "practicable".

SECTION 15, in the proposed section 197 (2) (b) of the Workers Compensation Act, by adding "has expired" at the end.

SECTION 17, by deleting "the Supplement to the Building Safety Standards Act" and substituting "the Building Safety Standards Act, as enacted by section 1 of the Supplement to the Building Safety Standards Act,".

SECTION 18, by deleting "the Supplement to the Building Safety Standards Act" and substituting "the Building Safety Standards Act, as enacted by section 1 of the Supplement to the Building Safety Standards Act,".

19   The Hon. U. Dosanjh to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 19) intituled Attorney General Statutes Amendment Act, 1998 to amend as follows:

SECTION 8, by deleting the proposed section 8 and substituting the following:

8 Section 61 (1) (a) is amended by striking out "sections 37, 46 and 47," and substituting "sections 17 (4), 37, 46 and 47,".
