Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

The Hon. M. Farnworth (Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Seniors) tabled the following documents:

Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors Annual Report, 1998/99; and

Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors Performance Plan, 2000/2001, which includes the Environmental Scan 2000-2003.

By leave of the House, Mr. Goodacre moved that the First Report of the Select Standing Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries for the Fourth Session of the Thirty-sixth Parliament be adopted.

A debate arose.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. C. Evans (Minister of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries) made a ministerial statement regarding Agriculture Day.

Mr. Barisoff made a statement.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Attorney General followed by the estimates of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology).

19. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $828,499,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Attorney General, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2001.

20. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $50,028,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Attorney General, Statutory Services, to 31st March, 2001.

21. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $44,019,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Attorney General, Judiciary, to 31st March, 2001.


Section A of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions and completion of the estimates of the Ministry of Attorney General.
