On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 23) intituled British Columbia Transit Amendment Act, 2000, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 23) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 16) intituled Electoral Districts Amendment Act, 2000 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section B of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks).

Section B of Committee of Supply reported progress.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

43. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $73,324,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Small Business, Tourism and Culture, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2001.

44. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $10,963,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Small Business, Tourism and Culture, Royal British Columbia Museum, to 31st March, 2001.


Section A of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions and completion of the Estimates of the Ministry of Small Business, Tourism and Culture.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks).

Bill (No. 20) intituled Motor Vehicle Amendment Act, 2000 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 19) intituled Income Tax Amendment Act, 2000, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

Bill (No. 19) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.
