PROPOSED AMENDMENTS ON NOTICE

7   The Hon. S. Santori to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 7) intituled Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Amendment Act, 2002 to amend as follows:

SECTION 7, by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following:

(b) by adding the following paragraph

(f.1) to an officer or employee of a public body or to a minister, if the information is necessary for the delivery of a common or integrated program or activity and for the performance of the duties of the officer or employee or minister to whom the information is disclosed, .

SECTION 19 (b), by deleting the proposed definition of "personal information" and substituting the following:

"personal information" means recorded information about an identifiable individual; , and

8   The Hon. K. Falcon to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 8) intituled Deregulation Statutes Amendment Act, 2002 to amend as follows:

SECTION 44, by deleting the proposed section 44 and substituting the following:

Commencement

44 (1) Sections 1, 14, 16 to 19, 33 to 35 and 37 are deemed to have come into force on March 31, 2002 and are retroactive to the extent necessary to give them effect on and after that date.

(2) Sections 22 and 23 are deemed to have come into force on April 1, 2002 and are retroactive to the extent necessary to give them effect on and after that date.

(3) Sections 25 to 28 come into force by regulation of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

11   The Hon. G. Plant to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 11) intituled Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2002 to amend as follows:

SECTION 39, by adding the following subsection:

(4) Section 1 is deemed to have come into force on March 31, 2002 and is retroactive to the extent necessary to give it effect on and after that date.
