The Hon. C. Richmond (Speaker) tabled the following:

Ombudsman Public Report No. 42: Code of Administrative Justice 2003; and
Ombudsman Special Report No. 23: The Right to Know, A Complaint about the Greater Victoria Public Library Meeting Room Policy.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 28) intituled Forestry Revitalization Act a debate arose.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Krueger the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.56 a.m.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. S. Hawkins (Minister of Health Planning) made a ministerial statement concerning the status of the situation with regard to SARS.

Ms. MacPhail made a statement.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Bill (No. 4) intituled Agrologists Act was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 5) intituled Foresters Act, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

Bill (No. 5) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 22) intituled Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services Statutes Amendment Act, 2003 was committed, reported complete with amendment, read a third time and passed.

The House resumed the adjourned debate on second reading of Bill (No. 28) intituled Forestry Revitalization Act.

The debate continued.

Her Honour the Administrator having entered the House, and being seated in the Chair --

E. George MacMinn, Q.C., Clerk of the House, read the titles to the following Acts:
Bill (No. 4) Agrologists Act.
Bill (No. 18) Coastal Ferry Act.
Bill (No. 22) Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services Statutes Amendment Act, 2003.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Acts.

The said assent was announced by E. George MacMinn, Q.C., Clerk of the House, in the following words:

"In Her Majesty's name, Her Honour the Administrator doth assent to these Acts."

E. George MacMinn, Q.C., Clerk of the House, read the title to the following Act:
Bill (No. 26) Supply Act (No. 1), 2003.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Act.

The said assent was announced by E. George MacMinn, Q.C., Clerk of the House, in the following words:

"In Her Majesty's name, Her Honour the Administrator doth thank Her Majesty's loyal subjects, accepts their benevolence, and assents to this Act."

Her Honour the Administrator was then pleased to retire.

And then the House adjourned at 5.50 p.m.
