 58  By leave, the House resumed the adjourned debate on Motion 58 with respect to parental involvement in the education system.

Motion agreed to.

 65  By leave, Ms. Brice moved--
Be it resolved that this House recognizes the importance of the high-tech sector to the economy of British Columbia.

A debate arose.

On the motion of Mr. Hunter, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.58 a.m.

25. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $312,230,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Forests, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2004.

26. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $110,000,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Forests, Forest Investment, to 31st March, 2004.

49. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $4,344,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, Forest Practices Board, to 31st March, 2004.


Section B of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions and completion of the estimates of the Ministry of Forests.
Report to be considered at the next sitting.

The House recessed until 6.40 p.m.
