Ms. MacPhail made a statement regarding the death of William Hartley, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly.

The Speaker stated that he would convey to the family of the late Mr. Hartley, the condolences of the Members of the Legislative Assembly.

Order called for "Members' Statements."

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. C. Richmond (Speaker) tabled the Ombudsman Special Report No. 24 -- Acting in the Public Interest? Self-Governance in the Health Professions: The Ombudsman's Perspective.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Bill (No. 14) intituled Community Charter was committed.

The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.
Bill to be considered later today.

The House recessed until 6.40 p.m.

Bill (No. 14) intituled Community Charter was again committed and reported complete with amendment.

Bill as reported to be considered at the next sitting after today.

Ms. Kwan reserved her right to raise a matter of privilege.

And then the House adjourned at 8.57 p.m.
