Be it resolved that this House support the development and marketing of value-added sector of the forest industry.

Ms. MacPhail advised the House of the death of Jack Radford, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly.

The Speaker stated that he would convey to the family of the late Mr. Radford, the condolences of Members of the Legislative Assembly.

The Hon. C. Richmond (Speaker) tabled the British Columbia Legislative Library Annual Report, 2002.

The Hon. G. Collins (Minister of Finance) tabled a document regarding a change in accounting policy pursuant to the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act, Section 11 (2), and made a statement.

28. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $7,085,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health Planning, Vital Statistics, to 31st March, 2004.


Section A of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions and Completion of the estimates of the Ministry of Health Planning, and further reported progress of the estimates of the Ministry of Health Services.

Can the Minister please provide the date when he will release Mr. Gibson's Report regarding the Citizens' Assembly?

The Hon. G. Plant replied as follows:

Thank you for your question regarding the Citizens' Assembly Report. I am pleased to announce the report was released in a News Release on April 28, 2003.
