Honourable Speaker:

Your Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills begs leave to report as follows:

That the preamble to Bill (No. Pr 409) intituled Western Pentecostal Bible College Amendment Act, 2003, has been proved, and the Committee recommends that the Bill proceed to Second Reading.

All of which is respectfully submitted.

The Report was read and received.

By leave of the House, Mr. Lekstrom moved that the Report be adopted.

Motion agreed to.

Pursuant to Standing Order 110 (2) Bill (No. Pr 409) to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Bill (No. 63) intituled Youth Justice Act was again committed, reported complete with amendment, and by leave, read a third time and passed.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 85) intituled BC Hydro Public Power Legacy and Heritage Contract Act, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Sultan the debate was adjourned until later today.

The House recessed until 6.35 p.m.

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 85) intituled BC Hydro Public Power Legacy and Heritage Contract Act.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Bell, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 8.57 p.m.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC WRITTEN QUESTIONS

 13  Adriane Carr, Leader, Green Party of British Columbia, to ask the Hon. the Minster of State for Community Charter, regarding the Minister's Responsibility for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the following question:--
The government of BC is now committed to spending substantial funds on the 2010 Olympic Games. Will the government commit to providing a complete public disclosure of the financial assets of all members of the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the Games, the 2010 Winter Olympics Bid, City contract, and the financial records of the 2010 Bid Corporation?
