PROPOSED AMENDMENTS ON NOTICE
6 The Hon. G. Collins to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 6) intituled Taxation Statutes Amendment Act, 2004 to amend as follows:
SECTION 31 (i), in the proposed section 14 (3) (c.1) (ii) (A) of the Property Transfer Tax Act, by deleting "individuals" and substituting "individual".
SECTION 33, in the proposed definition of "retail authorization" in section 1 of the Tobacco Tax Act, by deleting "section 44 (2) (i.i);" and substituting "section 44 (2) (i.l);".
SECTION 35, by deleting "by regulations" and substituting "by regulation".
7 The Hon. G. Collins to move, in Committee of the Whole on Bill (No. 7) intituled Social Service Tax Amendment Act, 2004, to amend as follows:
SECTION 3, in the proposed section 6 (4.3) (a) of the Social Service Tax Act by deleting "Canada" and substituting "Canadian".
SECTION 6, by deleting the proposed section 11 (4.2) (b) of the Social Service Tax Act and substituting the following:
(b) the person who provided the gift
(i) paid tax under this Act, or
(ii) paid a sales tax to another province or under section 165 (2) of the Excise Tax Act (Canada),
and that person is not eligible for a refund or rebate under this Act or under the law of the other jurisdiction, or .
