The Clerk of the House informed the House of the unavoidable absence of the Speaker, whereupon Mr. Weisbeck, Deputy Speaker, took the Chair, pursuant to Standing Order 12.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A and Section B of Committee of Supply.

Section B of Committee of Supply reported progress of the estimates of the Ministry of Health Services.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

Section A of Committee of Supply reported progress of the estimates of the Ministry of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

And then the House adjourned at 11.56 a.m.

Order called for "Members' Statements."

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

Mr. Hogg made representations regarding a matter of privilege raised by Ms. MacPhail on February 16, 2004.

The Deputy Speaker stated that he would take the matter under advisement.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 15), intituled Sustainable Resource Management Statutes Amendment Act, 2004, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 15) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section B of Committee of Supply.

25. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $10,404,260,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health Services, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2005.

26. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $6,935,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health Services, Vital Statistics (Special Operating Agency), to 31st March, 2005.


Section B of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions and completion of the estimates of the Ministry of Health Services.
