Be it resolved that this House applaud the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police for initiating a national dialogue on a framework to train police on how to best deal with the mentally ill.

Be it resolved that this House applaud the City of Delta’s resolution that the provincial government develop a long-term, multi-faceted strategy to help people suffering from concurrent disorders from becoming chronic offenders.
