On the motion of Ms. Darcy, Bill (No. M 211) intituled Tobacco Control Amendment Act, 2014 was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

By leave, Mr. Eby tabled correspondence with respect to compensation paid and employment contracts at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

By leave, the Hon. M. de Jong moved —

That Scott Hamilton be appointed as a Member of the Select Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs, replacing the Hon. N. Letnick;

Moira Stilwell be appointed as a Member of the Select Standing Committee on Health, replacing the Hon. N. Letnick; and,

John Yap be appointed as a Member of the Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts, replacing the Hon. N. Letnick.
