That the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 12) intituled Federal Port Development Act be amended by deleting the word “now” and substituting “six months hence.”

Ms. Huntington moved the following amendment —

That the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 12) intituled Federal Port Development Act be amended by deleting all the words after “That” and substituting “the bill be not now read a second time, that the order for second reading be discharged, the bill withdrawn from the Order Paper and the subject matter referred to the Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills.”

The amendment to the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 12) was negatived.

Bill (No. 12) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 4) intituled Chartered Professional Accountants Act was committed.

The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.

21. Resolved, that a sum not exceeding $118,122,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Environment, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2016.

22. Resolved, that a sum not exceeding $11,610,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Environment, Environmental Assessment Office, to 31st March, 2016.
