The Hon. L. Reid (Speaker) tabled the following documents:

Auditor General Report, Managing the Cumulative Effects of Natural Resource Development in B.C., May 2015; and,

Auditor General Follow-Up Report: Environmental Assessment Office, May 2015.

Mr. Martin presented the Report of the Special Committee to Appoint an Ombudsperson for the Fourth Session of the Fortieth Parliament, May 26, 2015.

The Report was taken as read and received.

That this House recommend to Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor the appointment of James Michael Chalke, Q.C., as an officer of the Legislature, to exercise the powers and duties assigned to the Ombudsperson for the province of British Columbia for a six-year term commencing on July 1, 2015, pursuant to section 2 of the Ombudsperson Act (RSBC 1996, c. 340).
