As Canada does not have visa offices in all countries, Commonwealth Youth Parliament (CYP) delegates should consult the website of the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp for information regarding visa requirements. This site provides information on how to apply for a visa on-line and in person, and the documentation required.

All CYP delegates are advised to apply for their visas well in advance of the November event as processing times for applications can vary. As of March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to, or transit through Canada, are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
