Position Summary

Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.

The Parliamentary Dining Room is seeking an efficient, reliable, and service oriented individual for the auxiliary as-and-when required position of Dishwasher.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible for the day-to-day dishwashing and ensuring the Parliamentary Dining Room runs smoothly by providing assistance to the kitchen.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a minimum of one year of related experience in a hotel, restaurant or private club facility, and must have completed the Provincial Food Safe sanitation program for food handlers.
