Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Office of the Clerk is seeking a collaborative, innovative and results oriented individual, for the regular full-time position of Strategic Planning Advisor.
Reporting to the Clerk Assistant, Parliamentary Services, the Strategic Planning Advisor is responsible for providing advice and guidance to organizational and departmental leadership on strategic planning, performance measurement, and evaluation of options for major organizational business initiatives. To enable organizational effectiveness in this area, the Strategic Planning Advisor also builds the necessary framework, tools, and templates, offering the related training, facilitation, and supports.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in business administration, public administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a strategy, planning, or analytical role.
