Position Summary

​Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.

The Information Technology Department is seeking four collaborative, innovative, and service-orientated individuals for two regular full-time and two auxiliary full-time  Service Desk Analyst positions.

Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology Operations, the Service Desk Analyst is responsible for maintaining a high level of systems-related knowledge, customer service expertise, and familiarity with client hardware, software, external support organizations, and suppliers.

​Applicants must have a university degree or technical diploma in Computer Science of Applied Information Technology, at least one year of technical support experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
