Position Summary

​Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.

The Office of the Clerk is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and detail-orientated individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Policy Analyst.

Reporting to the Senior Policy and Project Analyst, the Policy Analyst is responsible for assisting departmental representatives in identifying high-priority policies and incorporating within personal and departmental work plans to ensure continued progress.

Qualifications

​Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in public or business administration or related field, and a minimum of 2 years recent (within the last 5 years) related experience; or a Master's degree or other related graduate studies in public or business administration,
