Position Summary
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
Hansard Services is seeking a knowledgeable, analytical and motivated individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Publishing Systems Analyst.
Reporting to the Publishing Systems Architect, the Publishing Systems Analyst is responsible for technology planning, business analysis, systems design and support services. This position provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium sized projects from initiation to completion. This position is also responsible for system architecture and business analysis including requirements gathering.

Qualifications
Applicants
must have a degree, diploma, or certification in a technology related
discipline such as computer science, computer systems, information technology
or web development, and two years of related experience in a development or
technical support role, or the equivalent combination of education and
experience.
