Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Parliamentary Committees Office is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Committee Research Assistant (Co-op).
Reporting to the Manager, Committee Research Services, the Committee Research Assistant (Co-op) provides research and communications support for the Parliamentary Committees Office, including research, analysis, and communications services.

Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary education program (business or public administration; other humanities and social sciences disciplines). Applicants must also have experience in conducting research and preparing written materials on the results of the research.
