Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Information Technology department is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused and motivated individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Project Analyst.
Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, and under supervision of the Team Leads in the Operations, Security and Infrastructure teams, the Project Analyst will be responsible for managing a variety of transformation projects throughout the project management life cycle. The Project Analyst plays a key role providing project management expertise to all departments throughout the Legislative Assembly to ensure projects are planned, managed and completed successfully and within budget.
Applicants must have:
- A post-secondary degree or technical diploma in the information technology domain.
- At least one year of work experience as a Project Analyst or Project Coordinator in multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Experience with modern Project Management software and tools.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
- Project Management certification or training.
