Honourable Members:
I have the honour to present herewith the Second Report of the Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills (the Committee) for the Fourth Session of the Fortieth Parliament.
At a meeting on December 15, 2015 the Committee undertook the examination of the revision of the
Local Government Act (RSBC 1996 c. 323) pursuant to the
Statute Revision Act (RSBC 1996 c. 440). The Committee has recommended to the Lieutenant Governor that the revision be approved and be brought into force.
