The Legislative Assembly is committed to accountability and transparency through the quarterly disclosure of information on Members’ compensation, travel expenses, and constituency office expenses.

The following 2016-17 reports and receipts were paid in the period April 1, 2016 to September 30, 2016 (posted December 16, 2016).​

 

Members' Compensation

The following report contains a collective summary of basic compensation paid to 85 Members, and additional salaries for certain positions, as authorized by sections 2(1) and 4(1) of the Members' Remuneration and Pensions Act. Details of each category provided in the notes section are an integral part of this report.

 

Members' Travel Expenses

Members' Travel Expenses reports include travel costs for Members of Cabinet (Ministers and Ministers of State), reflecting the amounts disclosed on the Province of British Columbia website at http://www.openinfo.gov.bc.ca/ibc/index.page for transportation and accommodation costs as well as per diem payments for food and incidentals.

The following report provides a collective summary of the travel expenses of 85 Members. Details of each category provided in the notes section are an integral part of this report. Receipts for travel expenses for each Member are available in list below.

  

 

Members' Constituency Office Expenses

The following report provides a collective summary of the constituency office expenses of 85 Members. Details of each category provided in the notes section are an integral part of this report. Receipts for constituency office expenses for each Member are available in the list below. 

 

Public Acc​ounts 2015/16 - Detailed Sc​hedule of Payments

Information on Members' travel expenses and capital city living expenses is disclosed on an annual basis in the Public Accounts of British Columbia. The most recent information available in the Public Accounts reports is for expenses paid in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016.​

 

Parliamentary Committees Travel Expenses Report

The following report provides a summary of parliamentary committee-related travel expenses paid since April 1, 2016. The report only includes expenses which have been processed and paid to Members and staff in the reporting period.  Details of each category provided in the notes section are an integral part of this report.
