Tuesday, July 1 - The Parliament Buildings will be closed for Canada Day.
Guided Tours
The Parliament Buildings are open for free guided tours and self-guided tours year-round.
During the busy summer season (May 19 - August 31), the Parliament Buildings are open every day for free guided tours.
Tour staff will be on the front driveway to provide information on your options for visiting.

Monday - Friday (May 19 - Aug. 31) - Free guided tours are offered between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. Plan to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to pass through security screening. On weekdays, tours begin in the Lower Rotunda.

Saturday - Sunday (May 19 - Aug. 31) - On weekends, visitors must join a guided tour to enter the Parliament Buildings. Free guided tours are offered regularly from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm. Free tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. On weekends, tours begin outside on the front driveway.
Tours are free and last approximately 40 minutes.
Self-Guided Tours
On weekdays, visitors are may take their own self-guided tour at any time between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
Self-guided tour books are available in a variety of languages at the Tour Desk.
Travelling Plays
From Victoria Day to the end of August, guests can join the Parliamentary Players on an award-winning interactive theatrical experience that takes visitors around the outdoor grounds of the Legislative Assembly and even back through time! These free, thirty-minute travelling plays are a perfect complement to your guided tour of the Parliament Buildings, so plan to include this as part of your summer visit.
Public tour times are determined based on events taking place inside the Parliament Buildings and our other school and group bookings.
Opening hours and tour times may change without notice due to Legislative events, demonstrations on the precinct, and operational requirements.
Transportation and Parking
The Parliament Buildings are located at 501 Belleville Street in Victoria, British Columbia.

There is no public parking on the property. Street parking and pay parking lots are located nearby.

For visitors with accessibility requirements, the best place to park, or be dropped off, is immediately beside the property on Menzies Street.

Outdoor bike racks are located on either side of the buildings behind the East and West Annexes.

A bus stop is located on the Government Street side of the property.

Accessibility
The Parliament Buildings are accessible to visitors in wheelchairs and scooters, those with limited mobility, and children in strollers.
- The accessible entrance can be reached from the front driveway on the west side of the Parliament Buildings (to the right of the front steps). A short ramp will lead you down to the entry door.

For visitors with accessibility requirements, the best place to park, or be dropped off, is immediately beside the property on Menzies Street.

Visitors are welcome to bring supportive devices or service animals.

Elevators can be used to travel between floors while inside the Parliament Buildings.

An accessible washroom is located in the east hallway on the second floor.
