The Legislative Assembly released its first Reconciliation Action Plan on May 8, 2024.
The plan outlines commitments and actions to advance reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, grounded in acknowledging past injustices and building respectful, understanding relationships. In developing a Reconciliation Action Plan, the Legislative Assembly is committed to reconciliation as a core value to guide its multi-year planning.
Each year, an update reports on progress implementing the commitments set out in the plan, highlighting actions taken, progress made, and areas where further work is needed.
