The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services is one of ten permanent all-party committees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
The Committee holds a public consultation on the upcoming provincial budget every fall following the release of the budget consultation paper by the Minister of Finance. This year's consultation opened on September 17 following the release of the
Budget 2019 Consultation Paper, and closed on October 15. The Committee thanks everyone who participated. The Committee will release its report and recommendations by November 15. For more information

The Committee also reviews and considers the annual reports, service plans and budget estimates of B.C.'s eight statutory offices. The Committee is further empowered to appoint an independent auditor to audit the financial statements of the Auditor General.
